Grace joined the firm as in 2022, having previously worked for a local district council as a paralegal and assisting on matters relating to litigation and commercial property. Grace obtained First Class Honours in Law from the University of Plymouth in 2020, before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law in 2022. During her time at university, Grace was actively involved in the University of Plymouth Law Clinic, offering assistance and advice regarding Social Welfare Rights to clients in the Plymouth locality.
Grace started her Training Contract with us in September 2023. Her first seat as a trainee was in the Family department, wherein she assisted on divorce and financial matters, child arrangements, injunction proceedings and cohabitation issues. A particular point of interest for Grace was assisting and advising clients whose cases required litigation in the Family Court. She thereafter moved to our Civil Litigation department, assisting with medical negligence and personal injury, property disputes, estate disputes and some landlord and tenant matters.
Grace is currently in her third seat with our Conveyancing team, working on a vast range of property transactions. She is a firm believer in learning something new every day and is particularly enthusiastic about developing her wider legal knowledge whilst training.
Outside of work, Grace splits her time between cuddling her cats, reading, and watching horror movies and/or football with her partner.
