Helen studied for her Law degree with the Open University, achieving a First Class Honours and subsequently a distinction in her Masters in Law. Her switch to a legal career was inspired by a personal employment matter in which she successfully acted as a litigant in person, but has previous experience in marketing and communications.
Helen advises on both matrimonial finance and private children matters, having originally trained to be a barrister at BPP Law School in Bristol. She has a particular interest and sensitivity to matters involving domestic abuse, and has worked extensively with charities providing peer support for survivors. Helen has both a practical and empathetic approach, with the additional advantage of advocacy experience in contentious matters.
In her spare time, Helen takes full advantage of the beautiful North Devon countryside by doing lots of running and walking (weather and motivation permitting!)
