Joely joined the firm in 2022 as a Graduate Paralegal in the Private Client department. She has a First Class Honors degree in Law with Business and a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Plymouth. Joely is currently studying a LLM in Legal Practice and will qualify as a solicitor through the SQE pathway. Joely started her training contract with Brewer Harding & Rowe in September 2023.
Joely’s first seat as a trainee was in the Private Client department in Barnstaple where she dealt with a range of different matters including estate administration, the drafting of Wills, the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust administration and general private client matters. She thereafter moved to our Family Department in Bideford where she assisted on all matters including financial settlements, divorce and children matters. Joely particularly enjoyed attending and assisting clients at the family court, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Joely is currently in her third seat with our Barnstaple Conveyancing team, working on a vast range of property transactions, including both freehold and leasehold transactions.
Joely grew up in North Devon. Outside of work, she enjoys socializing with her friends and family, travelling and attending her local circuits group.
